Last updated: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BidLine ("BidLine," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, the BidLine iOS mobile app, and related services (the "Services").
This policy covers both our marketing website and the BidLine mobile app. Some tools described below, including Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel, are used only on our websites and are not included in the mobile app. Details specific to the app are in section 5.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as name, business name, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
- Customer and quote data you upload or create in the Services, including contacts (name, email, phone, and address), line items, pricing details, and photos attached to quotes.
- Billing and subscription details, including plan and payment status.
- Integration data from connected third-party services (for example, QuickBooks), based on permissions you grant.
- Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, page activity, and timestamps.
- Cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies on our websites (see section 4).
- Communications you send to us through forms, support, or email.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Process transactions and manage subscriptions.
- Enable requested integrations and data sync behavior.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and protect platform security.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
- On our websites only, measure site usage and marketing campaign performance (see section 4).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information:
- With service providers that host, secure, and support our Services.
- With integration partners you explicitly connect and authorize.
- On our websites only, with analytics and advertising partners such as Microsoft (Clarity) and Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel), as described in section 4.
- When required by law, court order, or valid legal process.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information with data brokers.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising (Website)
On our marketing websites, we use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising technologies. These tools help us understand how visitors use the site and measure our marketing. They are not used in the BidLine mobile app.
- Microsoft Clarity. Clarity provides session analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings. It may collect pages visited, clicks, scrolling behavior, device and browser type, and similar usage information so we can see how the site is used and improve it.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel). The Meta Pixel measures visits and actions on our websites (for example, page views and form submissions). It may collect pages visited, event data, device information, IP address, and cookie identifiers. This information is shared with Meta Platforms so we can measure ad performance and, where permitted, deliver relevant ads.
These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage Meta advertising preferences through your Meta account. Blocking cookies may limit some site functionality.
5. BidLine Mobile App
The BidLine iOS app is covered by this Privacy Policy. Data collected in the app is used solely to provide the app's core functionality: account access, customer and quote management, and photo attachments on quotes. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it is not sold or shared with data brokers.
The app may collect:
- Account and staff information: name, email address, and phone number, collected at sign-in and through profile settings, and tied to your account.
- Customer records: name, email address, phone number, and physical/mailing address, entered by staff as part of normal CRM use.
- Photo attachments: staff may attach photos to quotes (for example, job site photos).
- A unique user/account identifier used to associate app data with your account.
No tracking or advertising in the app. The mobile app does not include Microsoft Clarity, the Meta Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising SDK.
Storage and processing. App data is stored and processed through Supabase (our backend and database provider) and BidLine's API servers, used only to operate the service for your organization.
Push notifications. The app may send push notifications (for example, updates relevant to your account). Device push tokens are used solely to deliver these notifications.
Face ID and biometric authentication. If you enable Face ID, it is used only to unlock the app locally on your device through Apple's Face ID system. Biometric data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to or stored by BidLine.
6. Data Retention
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, meet legal or operational requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. You can also manage some account information from within your workspace.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Transfers
If you use the Services from outside the country where our systems are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where required.
